General Tips
- Always check the label on the garment first – some items may have specific care instructions.
- Wash inside out – this protects the print and embroidery during the wash.
- Avoid overloading the washing machine – give your clothing enough space to move around.
Washing Printed Clothing
To help printed logos and designs stay sharp:
- Wash at 30°C – lower temperatures are better for the print and for the environment!
- Use mild detergent – no bleach or harsh chemicals.
- Avoid fabric softeners if possible – they can affect the adhesive on certain print types.
- Don’t scrub or rub the print directly.
Washing Embroidered Clothing
Embroidery is more durable than print, but still benefits from gentle care:
- Wash at 30–40°C depending on the fabric.
- Avoid washing with items that have zips or Velcro, which can catch the threads.
- Don’t use bleach or strong stain removers directly on embroidery.
- Embroidered garments can usually be washed more frequently without fading, but still handle with care.
Drying
- Air dry whenever possible – tumble drying can cause shrinkage or affect prints.
- If you must tumble dry, keep it on a low heat setting.
- Never wring out garments, especially those with print.
Ironing
- Do not iron directly on print or embroidery.
- If ironing is needed, turn the garment inside out or place a cloth over the design.
- Use a low heat setting to avoid damage.
