How does Custom Embroidery work?

Embroidery is by far the most durable personalisation method.

It is typically used for logo embroidery onto work uniforms. This is a perfect match as this clothing is typically washed weekly.

After your logo or wonderful design is uploaded, we pass this to our artwork team who then use our specialised embroidery software to turn your creation into stitches. Yes, your design is turned into a file that can be used on our professional Melco embroidery machines, stitch by stitch.

Once this file has been created, we run your design on our computers, which communicates with our embroidery machine. Upto 16 colours can be included in your design, as this is how many threads each machine can hold. We only use the best threads supplied by Madeira (a specialist company in embroidery supplies).

Your clothing is secured with a metal embroidery frame that holds the garment in place as it’s being stitched. We have a variety of different frames depending on the position of your logo or design. Backing and topping is added to the garment, subject to the type of fabric we are embroidering onto for you.

There are benefits and limitations to our embroidery service:

Pros

  • Professional look

  • Looks best on Polo Shirts, Hoodies, Sweatshirts, Fleeces, Jackets and Gilets
