Direct to Film Printing

Branditright person
printed full colour t shirt

This method uses our direct to garment printer for the print however the biggest difference here is that it is printed onto a transparent film first and then applied to your garments. The print is not directly printed onto the clothing.

We often use this method for you if a front left or right logo is required in full colour. It is also used if you need a colourful image printed onto a garment without a high cotton percentage such as a polo shirt. Unlike DTG, this method prints the colour first and white last as the image is reversed and then flipped when applied in the heat press.

Pros

  • Printing onto a film first means that your print can now be printed onto other fabrics such
    as polyester.
  • Eco friendly inks
  • Complicated designs can be printed

Cons

  • Does not feel as soft as the Direct to garment print
  • Smaller area for printing
